Contents of the Template

This sample template opens the following standard Visio stencils:

• Landmark Shapes

• Transportation Shapes

• Document Stencil: This template contains some shapes that do not ship with Visio. These shapes exist on one or more of the pages in the drawing, but they also exist on the template's Document Stencil. To open the Document Stencil to view these master shapes you must put Visio into Developer Mode. In Visio 2007, from the File menu, select Shapes, and then select Show Document Stencil. In Visio 2010 click the File tab, click Options, click Advanced, and then, under General, select Run in developer mode and you will see the Document Stencil checkbox in the ribbon bar. From here, new shapes can be dragged to your drawing. You can also copy these shapes from the Document Stencil, and add them to your own new stencil. This sample contains the following pages:

• Vehicle 1 Information: This page provides you with all of the information necessary to document the first vehicle in an accident.

• Vehicle 2 Information: This page provides you with all of the information necessary to document the second vehicle in an accident.

• Diagram and Other Information: This page provides you with a place to create a diagram of the accident scene, as well as document passenger, witness and investigating office information.
